Search Twitter bookmarks by keyword or meaning

Turn your X (formerly Twitter) bookmarks into a searchable local library. XMore runs full-text and semantic search in your browser over posts you have successfully synced or imported.

Search Twitter bookmarks from your local library

Sign in to XMore with valid access, then use your own X account to sync bookmarks. You can also import supported X archive files. Search covers the content that has reached your current browser library; availability and sync progress determine what you can find.

This local Twitter bookmark search is designed for the posts in your library. It does not claim to search every public post on X.

  1. Sync the Bookmarks source or import an X archive
  2. Select Bookmarks to limit the search to that source
  3. Enter a keyword or describe the idea you remember
  4. Use author, date and tag filters to refine the results

Search Twitter bookmarks by exact words or meaning

Full-text search helps when you remember words from a saved post. Local multilingual semantic search helps when you remember an idea but have lost the original wording.

For example, try a distinctive phrase from a post about local search, then describe the same idea in your own words. Results depend on the content available in your library and the relevance of the query.

  • Search post text, authors and tags
  • Use the local multilingual model for semantic recall
  • Add two levels of tags to make the next visit easier

Search Twitter bookmarks by date and author

Choose Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days, Last 30 days or This year, then combine the time filter with an author or tag. The filter uses the post creation time, with capture time as a fallback when creation time is missing. Saving an older post today does not give it today’s creation date.

For a broader Twitter search by date, the advanced X search panel builds a query that runs on X. Local bookmark search covers the records already in this browser.

  1. Select the Bookmarks source
  2. Choose a preset time range for the post date
  3. Add a keyword, author or tag to narrow results
  4. Return to All time when looking for older posts

Keep bookmarks connected to your other saved sources

A post can have both bookmark and like relationships while sharing one content record. You can search across sources or keep the Bookmarks filter active for a focused view. Read the guide to searching your own X likes for that workflow.

Understand the local data boundary

Full-text and semantic search run locally. XMore account services handle sign-in, sessions, subscriptions and bound-account details in the cloud. Optional Agent tag suggestions send the current item and required context through the Companion to your chosen model service after you enable them.

See local storage and Agent data boundaries before enabling tag suggestions. Keep original archive files separately: clearing extension data or losing the device can remove your local library.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Common questions

Why is Twitter bookmark search not finding my saved post?

Confirm the selected X account and sync or import progress. Choose All time and clear author and tag filters. Missing records or incomplete archive text can limit results.

Can I search Twitter bookmarks on mobile with XMore?

XMore currently runs as a desktop Chrome extension for Chrome 120 or newer. Your local extension library is stored in that desktop browser.

Can I search bookmarks that have not synced yet?

Search covers posts already synced or imported into this browser. Check sync progress and source filters when an expected post is missing.

Can I search Twitter bookmarks by date?

Yes. After sync or import, select a preset range such as Last 7 days or This year. The filter uses post creation time, falling back to capture time when needed. Combine it with author and tag filters.

Does semantic search send my query to a model provider?

The built-in semantic model runs locally. Optional Agent tag suggestions use a separate, explicitly enabled connection to your selected model service.

Can I search bookmarks and likes together?

Yes. Both can enter the same local library while retaining their source relationships. Use the source filters to search them together or separately.

Does this search all of X?

This page describes your local library search. XMore also offers a separate advanced search panel on X that submits queries to X.
